From ambulance transport to life-saving medications not covered by government
subsidies, Yachad is dedicated to supporting children in hospitals. With a strong
presence in all major Israeli medical centers, Yachad provides a vital bridge between
medical care and the emotional and practical support families need during difficult times.
Yachad was founded about a decade ago and is dedicated to welfare and charitable activities
for the sick, needy, and disabled. True to its name, the organization works “for everyone”,
without discrimination based on social status, race, nationality, gender, or religion, and serves
the entire population across the country.

HOW DOES YOUR DONATION HELP
Yachad operates a wide range of projects to support the sick, needy, and disabled, including:
Special Support Fund – Providing financial aid to patients and the needy, with an annual budget of millions of shekels.
Medication Assistance – Purchasing medications worth tens of thousands of shekels each month for patients who cannot afford treatments not covered by public health services.
Hospital Events & Celebrations – Hosting events and celebrations in hospitals and for special education children, serving as a boost for their recovery and significantly enhancing morale.
Medical Equipment Lending – Offering a variety of rehabilitation equipment for patients recovering from illnesses.
Food Distribution in Hospitals – Volunteers distribute food packages to patients and their visitors, as well as gift baskets and sweets for hospitalized children.
Free Patient Transport Services – The organization operates modern and comfortable transport vans to take patients and their companions to and from hospitals, free of charge. Additionally, a team of dozens of volunteer drivers use their personal vehicles to assist in transporting patients to hospitals.
“Shabbat & Holiday Joy” Program – Providing food vouchers to enable needy families to purchase basic holiday and Shabbat meals.
Hot Meal Distribution – Delivering warm, nutritious cooked meals to underprivileged families.
Medical Guidance & Support – Offering medical assistance, counseling, and guidance through volunteers and civil service members affiliated with the organization.
“Warm Winter” Project – Distributing blankets, winter clothing, heaters, and more to elderly individuals and patients in need.
Weekend & Holiday Clubs – Hosting weekend and holiday programs for adults and children with illnesses or disabilities.
Vacation & Summer Camps – Organizing summer camps and trips for sick children, as well as specialized camps for various disabilities several times a year.
