Aruha Hama - Hot Meals

Since 2002, Aruha Hama has been providing nutritious meals to children from single-parent families. Operating in over 60 cities across Israel, Aruha Hama works to ensure that no child in need goes hungry.
Recent reports indicate that approximately 1,240,000 children in Israel, accounting for 39.6% of the Israeli child population, are living in poverty.
This situation is particularly severe among certain communities; for instance, 63% of Arab children and 58% of Haredi (ultra-Orthodox) children under the age of four are below the poverty line.

Aruha Hama has a goal of providing equal opportunity assistance to disadvantaged populations across the country.

The organization is an independent, non governmental, non-profit entity established byprivate sector groups from diverse backgrounds in Israel. It operates without government funding and is funded solely by donations.

HOW DOES YOUR DONATION HELP

The organization operates in 60 communities across the country, supporting approximately 20,000 families annually. These families, referred through welfare offices, include middle-class individuals, children, and infants who have fallen into severe poverty and malnutrition.

WHY DONATE

Poverty and hunger have had a devastating impact on the healthy development of infants and on needy families who lack the means to save their children from hunger. Providing nutritious meals to these children can play a crucial role in supporting their health and development.
